How Aori Uses Dynamic Keyword Insertion (DKI)

Aori has a unique approach to dynamic keyword insertion

The power of long-tail keywords and dynamic keyword insertion separately is well documented. But why is it so hard to use them together in Bing Ads?

The Bing way: 👎

Now in Bing Ads, if you have long-tail keywords in your ad groups, generally DKI isn’t the best idea. When your long-tail keyword doesn’t fit within the character limits set by Bing Ads, your substitute text will be shown instead of your keyword. The result is no DKI and just a general ad (with a lower CTR).

Example:

Keyword that triggered the ad: iPhone X screen repair (22 characters)

Headline text: We fix all {keyword: iPhone}’s

Resulting text: We fix all iPhone’s

The Aori way: 👍

We have found a solution to this issue. When you create a campaign in Aori, you make root keywords that are the fundamental words describing your product or service. These are the basic building blocks upon which your long-tail keywords are built.

When the character limit is reached with a long-tail keyword, Aori will look at this keyword and dynamically insert the root of this keyword. The result is that you still can achieve dynamic keyword insertion with long-tail keywords.

Example:

Keyword that triggered the ad: iPhone X screen repair

Headline text: We fix all {keyword}’s

Resulting Ad headline: We fix all iPhone X’s

The result with Aori is true dynamic keyword insertion for long-tail keywords.
