Google to add cross-device activity to all attribution reports
In response to user feedback, Google will add cross-device activity and conversions to all attribution reports from May 1st. This will allow managers to more easily track cross-device conversions, when a customer interacted with an ad on one device, but then completed a conversion on another device.

Google introduces full cross-account management in Google Ads Editor
In the past, campaign managers could only make changes in the Editor UI for a single account. Now the Editor supports full cross-account management, allowing you to use the Editor seamlessly across your Google Ads accounts from a single window.

Google introduces 'recommended columns' in Google Ads
The new recommended columns features suggests new reporting columns that you should be using based on your campaign and account settings. For example, if you start using bid automation, Google starts recommending the 'Big Strategy Type' column to your Campaign table.

Google fined $1.7 billion for search ad blocks in third EU sanction measures

Facebook updates metrics to provide better insights, reporting
Relevance Score will be replaced with three new metrics: Quality ranking, Engagement rate ranking, and conversion rate ranking. Facebook is also making changes to potential reach, by including only people that had were shown an ad on Facebook in the last 30 days. Facebook is also scrapping old metrics and including new ones, such as a posts saved metric, so that businesses can see how many people saved their ads.

Facebook launches searchable library of all ads to boost transparency
Unlike Facebook's Ads Archive which previously only included ads related to politics, the new library shows all active ads about anything, such as how much was spent on ads the past year, what a Page's previous name was and how much is being spent on ads.
